Vancouver,
BC - Destiny Media Technologies, Inc. (OTCBB: DSNY) is pleased
to announce that Silverpop Systems ™ (http://www.silverpop.com)
has chosen to integrate VideoClipstream™ as the exclusive
streaming video technology for Silverpop Dynamic Messaging
2.0 and future versions of this product line. This partnership
will advance both companies' business plans and product offerings
to the messaging and rich media marketplace. Silverpop ™ will
promote the Clipstream™ brand on its web site, manuals and
in marketing and promotional materials accompanying the integrated
applications, while Destiny will actively promote Silverpop
in its marketing efforts and its partner program.
Destiny
VP Sales, Mark Toffoli comments, "I'm pleased with the credibility
this relationship brings to our solution, as Silverpop only
selects to integrate and embed the best-of-breed third party
software into its products."
According
to International Data Corp, 35 billion messages will be sent
over the Internet each day by 2004. Despite being the most
widely used computer application, Internet e-mail and its
core protocol, SMTP, have seen virtually no change or innovation
since they were invented in 1982. The simple "store and forward"
of text based messages has been the method of e-mail management
and delivery. Silverpop was founded in 1999 to address this
market need, while Clipstream provides the rich media streaming
format to accomplish audio and video delivery within rich
media e-mails.
Silverpop
provides sales, marketing and customer communications software
solutions that help companies generate leads, close deals
and retain their customers. With Silverpop's line of e-mail
products, e-mail integrates with business systems to become
a powerful way to deliver critical company information. .
Silverpop changes e-mail from static, store-and-forward messaging
to dynamic, hosted messaging, where content is delivered to
the recipient in real time, while the message is being viewed.
As a result, Silverpop enables all existing electronic mail
systems to deliver video, audio, photographs, interactivity,
security and live data. Silverpop's architecture is a single
platform for the hosting and integration of multiple, best-of-breed,
third-party, e-mail-based applications and solutions.
"Destiny's
VideoClipstream has enhanced our product offering. Our system
now eliminates most of the plug-ins or downloads for rich-media
viewing, so recipients don't have to wait when opening a rich
media e-mail," said Bill Nussey, Silverpop president and CEO.
"With all these unique advantages, our Silverpop Dynamic Messaging
products provide tremendous messaging versatility for everything
from a CEO's company-wide video address to a full-scale e-mail
marketing campaign."
Many companies
offer audio or video enabled e-mails as an attachment or as
a link to a player-based solution. VideoClipstream™ is different
in that the video is embedded, is extremely small and no matter
how long the message is, the video only streams when necessary.
Silverpop
Systems Inc. provides sales, marketing and customer communications
software solutions that transform an enterprise's ability
to communicate by email. With Silverpop, email integrates
with business systems to become a powerful way to deliver
critical company information including sales presentations,
marketing campaigns, corporate newsletters, training videos
and account statements. Silverpop, founded in 1999, is headquartered
in Atlanta and has received more than $35 million in funding
from leading venture capital firms, including Draper Fisher
Jurvetson, NeoCarta Ventures and Labrador Ventures. For more
