The
2002 awards banquet for Championship Auto Racing Teams will
be held in Miami, Fl. on Friday, November 22 and is due to
be broadcast live on CART.com using Clipstream Live™
technology. CART.com will stream the evening's activities
live on the website http://www.cart.com/ starting at 7:00PM
ET and continuing to the end of the ceremony at 10:00PM ET.
CART.com
is also embedding Clipstream™ directly inside their newsletters,
so subscribers can receive video updates on recent races.
Clipstream
Live™ sells for $2995 + $500 for each additional camera
above the first one. Broadcasters need minimal equipment.
A standard consumer PC with a video signal can either broadcast
directly through a high bandwidth connection or it can broadcast
to the Clipstream Video Repeater™ running on a remote
site with a high bandwidth connection. Because Clipstream™
doesn't require a player it reaches almost three times the
audience of alternative solutions. It can be embedded directly
in emails and web pages so users aren't required to leave
the content owner's page to see the content.
